Due to entering final stages of management transition, the Jackson Zoo is TEMPORARILY CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC.

During this public shuttering, zoo animal care schedules and maintenance projects continue behind the gates for repairs and USDA licensing needs.
Animal lovers and zoo fans can rest assured that the animals are unaware of any changes, as their daily schedules remain the same.
The community can follow our progress on our Facebook and Instagram pages (@JacksonZoo) and by signing up for e-blasts below. We look forward to seeing everyone as soon as possible!
All memberships, comp passes, and promotional vouchers are frozen, and will be honored upon our re-open.

We have made every effort to notify the public of this closure, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

Currently we care for more than 300 animals representing over 150 species from exotic locales all over the globe,
working with other accredited zoos and wildlife organizations to protect them for generations to come.

We will never sell your info, but letting us know your interests can focus the number of emails you receive.
