Birthday Parties

Is the thought of planning a birthday party driving you wild? Let the Jackson Zoo give your little party animal a super safari bash!

  • The Jackson Zoo has three packages that are sure to make your party a stomping success.
  • Zoo Birthday Parties are best for kids ages three (3) and up!!
  • Party times are: 10:30 am - 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday through Sunday!
  • Parties must be booked 3 weeks in advance. $50 Non-Refundable Deposit Required.  Parties cannot be scheduled on event days.
  • Summer dates fill up fast due to our event schedule please make all reservations as soon as possible, in order to insure your date of choice.

Monkey Madness (Package A)

Length: 1 1/2 hour

Cost: $250 Non-Friends Members / $225 Friends Members

Guests: 12 guests

Additional guest: $8 each

Includes:

  • Party Captain
  • Parking & All-day Zoo Admission
  • Set up and Clean Up
  • Party napkins, plates, and tablecloths
  • Birthday cupcakes
  • Ice Cream Cups
  • Lemonade/Punch
  • Train Ride & Carousel Ride (weather permitted)
  • 15 min. encounter at the Discovery Zoo
  • Education Animal Encouncter (choice of: snake, ferret, turtle)

Giraffe Gathering (Package B)

Length: 1 1/2 hour

Cost: $300 Non-Friends Members / $275 Friends Members

Guests: 12 guests

Additional guests: $10 each

Includes:

  • Party Captain
  • Parking & All-day Zoo Admission
  • Set up and Clean Up
  • Party napkins, plates, and tablecloths
  • Birthday cupcakes
  • Ice Cream Cups
  • Lemonade/Punch
  • Choice of Hotdog, Hamburger, or Corn dog
  • Chips
  • Train Ride & Carousel Ride (weather permitted)
  • 15 min. encounter at the Discovery Zoo

Elephant Extravaganza (Package C)

Length: 1 1/2 hour

Cost: $350 Non-Friends Members / $325 Friends Members

Guests: 12 guests

Additional guests: $12 each

Includes:

  • Set up and Clean Up
  • Party napkins, plates, and tablecloths
  • Birthday cupcakes
  • Ice Cream Cups

  • 15 min. encounter at the Discovery Zoo

  • 15 min. Keeper Chat with animal of choice (based on availability)

 Additional Information

  • All birthday parties are hostes in the Elephant House Café Deck.
  • Indoor facility with air conditioning is available for an additional $100.
  • No balloons, silly string, straws, confetti, whistles, or glass bottles allowed in the Zoo!!!!!!
  • Jackson Zoo birthday parties will be held rain or shine.
  • No outside food permitted. (with the exception of a birhday cake)
