Make the zoo part of your classroom curriculum.
The Zoo Connections Curriculum offers activities for teachers to do with their students before, during, and after a trip to the Jackson Zoo. Every activity helps you reach a state science standard.
Add tickets for the train or carousel to your field trip.
Train tickets are purchased for adults and children and are $2 per rider.
Carousel tickets are purchased for children and are $2 per rider.
Important Notice- the train and carousel will not run from November 2, 2015 to February 29, 2016.
Please note that the train and carousel are very popular, so give your group plenty of time to ride. No refunds given for unused tickets.
Groups are encouraged to bring their lunch along with them. The Zoo has the Livingston Park picnic area for groups to break for lunch.
School groups can also order catered lunches through the Zoo Cafe, McDonalds, or Chick fil-A.
Zoo Cafe Lunch Options: Hot Dog or Burger Lunch ($5): Includes hot dog or hamburger, chips, and a small soda.
