Jackson Zoo Job Fair

February 20th & 27th

Have you ever dreamed about working for one of the largest family attractions in Jackson? The Jackson Zoo will be hiring seasonal and part-time positions.

"Story-Time Tuesday's"

March 2nd - Sept. 7th

Beginning in March thru September, the first Tuesday of each month, a local celebrity comes to the zoo to read an animal story to children. After story-time the children will engage in an arts and craft project session related to the story or animal encounter.

"ZooDAY"

March 13th

Make plans to visit the Jackson Zoo during Spring-Break this year and enjoy a day of festivities that will incorporate a variety of activities and fun for the entire family. This celebration also includes the opening of a new Fishing Cat Exhibit.

Adopt-an-Animal Day

March 17th

This Adopt-an-Animal Day will highlight several ways you can help save an animal, through our adopt-an-animal program, local pet adoption agencies, and animal enrichment staff. So come on out and take part in becoming a parent or loved one to an animal(s).

Breakfast w/ the animals & easter bunny

April 3rd

A new take on an old favorite! Come and enjoy a delicious buffet of breakfast food from 7am-10am. Then at 9am begin your personal tour of the zoo with our Animal Care staff. Space is limited so reserve your spot now!

Story-Time Tuesday

April 6th

A local celebrity comes to the zoo to read an animal story to children. After story-time the children will engage in an arts and craft project session related to the story or animal encounter.

Earth Day- Party for the planet

April 24th

Come join us for a day filled with family fun! Educational games and activities for all ages! Lean about our earth and what you can do to protect it!

International Migratory Bird day

May 8th

Have you ever wondered where that bird migrated from? Well we have the answers! Come out and enjoy this educational chat with our keeper’s, which will explain the history and the global impact these birds have on earth.

Mother's Appreciation Day

May 9th

Looking for something to do with mom on her day? Bring her to Jackson Zoo and enjoying a family bonding with mom as we offer her a special gift to show our appreciation of an all-day pass on her special day.
