Weddings & Receptions

The Jackson Zoo offers a unique atmosphere and private setting for rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies and receptions, . For additional information or to schedule a tour of our venues please email or call 601.352.2580 ext 228.

Splash Pad

The Splash Pad is available to all paying Zoo guests and members from 9 am to 3:30 pm on regular park days, weather permitting.  Towels and sunscreen can be purchased in the Jackson Zoo Trading Post (members receive 10% off).

Exclusive Rental of the Splash Pad

  • This package is available at the Splash Pad area only for up to 25 guests. Animal exhibits, train and carousel are closed.
  • Rental can be arranged from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm May-August (weather permitting; Sept. dates may be available upon request)
  • Cost: $250 for up to 25 children; each additional child are $9 each (50 children max)
  • No additional charge for adults with this package – one parent must accompany for every 5 children.
  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to book your party.
  • Splash Pad parties do not include food; however for Birthdays, cake and punch are allowed in a designated area. 
  • Beverages must be in individual plastic containers no larger than 8 oz.
  • Swimsuits and flip-flops/sandals are required. Infants and toddlers are required to wear appropriate diapers at all times.

Splash Pad Packages are MAY-September AND must be booked through our Special Events Department at 601.352.2580. (April dates may be available upon request)
