Train Rides at the Jackson Zoo

Our original train was a C.P. Huntington 1863 replica steam engine which was installed in 1972. The track gauge is 2 feet with approximately 1 mile of track. Today we have a similar model engine, owned by Star Amusement Company that runs on the original tracks. The train has 4 cars that hold up to 15 passengers each and has one wheel chair accessible cart available on request.
