The Jackson Zoo is pleased to announce their premier summer event of 2022: The Blue Bell Ice Cream Social with the City with Soul! The event will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. The event both honors our military and first responders, and acts as a fundraiser supporting the Jackson Zoo’s “reZOOvenation.” After a successful management transition to the City of Jackson Parks and Recreation Department, as well as the ongoing recovery from the effects of the COVID pandemic, the JZ staff continues to work towards being fully operational. Thanks to the generous donations of Blue Bell and Visit Jackson, all funds raised will go towards animal acquisitions and future exhibits.
