NEW EVENT
Saturday June 26th – 3-6pm

Adults $13, Children 12 years & under $10

Getting out of the house is still difficult, but the zoo is great way to get closer to both wildlife and people in the community safely, so mark your calendar for this “cool” opportunity! Every guest of the Jackson Zoo Summer Fling with Blue Bell will be able to visit with their favorite animals, enjoy free summer treats like a burger or hot dog meal with lemonade from Hot Diggity Dog, a slice of watermelon, some cotton candy, and a free 3 oz. cup of Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream (all while supplies last). There will be a Giraffe Chat with JZKeeper Alex and giraffe Kevin Davis Knox, some small animal meet and greets with the JZ Discovery Team, an exciting raptor presentation by Freedom Ranch, and inflatables from Bounce-A-Roo. Plus, there will be arts and crafts offerings from our friends and neighbors like Art, Hope, & Faith, Steele Designs, Terri’s Trinkets, Art-N-Color by ArtSmithC, and signed copies of “Downtown Hippos” by Tiffany Coleman-McGee. (*Respond to this email if you are interesting in setting up a display!) We will be practicing social distancing, wearing masks, using hand sanitizer, and following all the other healthy rules, including keeping tabs on how many people are admitted into the park at time. Tickets are on sale NOW!

Gator Feedings

Sunning is hard work for a gator! Photo: JZKeeper Alex

Tentative feedings are set up for Sundays at 1:30 pm at the Castle for those interested in seeing Bull, Whitfield, and the gator offspring “go after” their weekly chicken enrichment from Tyson Foods.
