Activities this Saturday from 11am to 3 pm!

AmeriCorps NCCC Delta 5 will be leading the early morning, all-ages, volunteer landscaping day before the micro-sports and fun begin at 11 am, so sign up the family HERE! (Whether landscaping or helping with the event, volunteers enjoy the event for free, so sign up now because slots are limited!)

The JZKeepers will be out with some reptiles to meet and greet, info on animal and environmental conservation, and be taking donations for all-natural animal art and empty aluminum beverage cans. (See below for details, all proceeds benefit the JZ Animal Enrichment fund of the JZKeepers AAZK Chapter.)

All the fun- and one free Endangered Species Carousel ride per child!- are included in regular admission ($8 for adults 12 years old and up, $5 for children aged 2-12 years, and under 2 years old are free). Dippin Dots and Hot Diggity Dog will have treats for sale, and Pepsi machines are always on grounds. Get tickets for regular weekly zoo hours (Tues, Thurs-Sun 10a-3p) or advance Zoo Day admission with credit or debit card ONLINE HERE or pay cash at the Admissions window. Last ticket sold daily at 3 pm, Zoo day ticket sales end at 2 pm on Saturday.


JZKeepers will be selling framed animal mud prints and collecting empty aluminum beverage cans during the event. All the funds will pay for extra enrichment for the animals here at the Jackson Zoo! Check out the JZKeepers AAZK Chapter webpage to see details.
